History
The districts first golf course was designed by highly regarded course architect Floan Morpeth and officially completed in 1912 for play. Most recently in 1975 Kevin Hartley completed course remodeling works that has resulted into what we know today, a challenging course with true fairways lined with native trees including old native gums, large even greens, a number of green and fairway bunkers and water holes.
Many notable golfers have graced the fairways during the club's colourful history, none more famous than the 'Von', Eric Von Nida who on the day recorded a memorable 68. The current course record is 67, held by local champion Ashley Whitehouse.
Today Mildura participates in various tournaments that entices both locals and visitors alike. Such tournaments include the Rivertowns Classic in October spanning over three courses in three states, the very popular Tri - State Masters that attracts over three hundred competitors to play many local courses in May and the Agrichem Mildura Golf Open over three exciting days in early April.
